Award recognition for CLM
Following a busy year in 2019, Currall Lewis & Martin finished strongly with multiple award wins and shortlist achievements within our industry sector’s numerous award ceromonies.
Deadlines were in October for the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) and Concrete Repair Association Award submissions for worthy projects ranging in type and value. Criteria covered key recognition for health and safety performance, client satisfaction, project excellence, sustainability, innovation and time and budget completion.
Following substantial reviews of submissions for the large project of the year category in both organisations, our R185 Repair and Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) contract was recognised as the winning entry in both awards.
CECA Regional Director Dawn Karakatsanis offered the following words of congratulations, paying true testament to the R185 project itself and all the hard work by the site team and personnel associated with the project:
“CLM submitted their R185 Concrete Repairs project to the CECA Midlands Awards Project of the Year over £3m – this is always a highly contested category. Judges said of the submission, ‘a fully collaborative and innovative approach paid dividends on this complex project in a very busy location. The testimonials are very powerful in showcasing the efforts and successes the contractor has achieved.’ Well done CLM you shone amongst some very stiff competition!”
After a great 2019, we very much look forward to 2020, working closely with our clients, and associated organisations, whilst offering best practice and continuing to improve our already high standards on project delivery.
